Eylul Backup App — Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Eylul is a desktop backup and scheduling application developed by Spailor LLC. The app is designed for use by IT professionals and organizations to automate SQL Server database backups, manage scheduling (cronjob), and upload backups to cloud storage such as Google Drive.
2. Data Storage & Credentials
All application data is stored locally on the user’s own computer. Scheduler configuration, job names, and usernames are saved in a local SQLite database .db3 located within the user’s Windows AppData directory. SQL Server and Google Drive account passwords are never stored in the SQLite database or by Eylul itself. All credentials for SQL Server and Google Drive are securely managed using Windows AppData under the Credentials folder as encrypted files, leveraging the operating system’s native credential protection. These files are accessible only to the authenticated Windows user and are not transmitted or shared externally.
3. Google Drive Integration
When users opt to back up data to Google Drive, Eylul only requests and uses the minimum required permissions for file access via Google OAuth 2.0. Login credentials for Google Drive are never stored by Eylul; authentication tokens are securely handled via Windows Credentials. All file transfers to Google Drive are encrypted via HTTPS. Users retain full control and can revoke access or delete any files on their Google Drive at any time.
4. Security
All local files, scheduled jobs, and backups are stored securely in the user’s AppData folder. Application does not transmit, collect, or share any personal data with Spailor LLC, Microsoft, or any third party except for user-initiated uploads to Google Drive. No remote logging, telemetry, or analytics mechanisms are implemented. ZIP or TAR.GZ compression options are available for SQL BAK files; users may select preferred compression before upload.
5. Data Retention & User Control
Users can delete all local database records and backup files at any time. All control of data resides with the user; Spailor LLC does not retain or restore any user data. In case of accidental data loss, Spailor LLC cannot be held responsible; users are advised to regularly verify the integrity of their backups.
6. Licensing & Microsoft Store
Eylul App licensing and distribution is managed exclusively via Microsoft Store; all terms and conditions of Microsoft Store apply. Eylul does not provide any third-party licensing outside Microsoft Store.
7. Disclaimer
Users are solely responsible for the management, verification, and restoration of their backup files. Spailor LLC does not guarantee data recovery or backup integrity beyond the scope of the application’s features.

9. Policy Updates
